We offer two different design service offerings to start you on your journey.
01. DISCOVERY CALL
The process begins with a free 30 minute discovery call. We can chat about your project to determine if we are a good fit and our services are right for you. When you are ready, just fill out the contact form below. We will promptly reach out to you and schedule a time that suits.
02. OUR PROCESS
Creating a home that feels deeply personal requires more than selecting finishes and furnishings. Our role is to guide you through the design journey from the earliest ideas through to a fully resolved design package, while collaborating with a trusted team of industry professionals to bring your project to life.
Whether you're planning a renovation, extension, new kitchen, bathroom transformation or a complete home refresh, we provide a considered and collaborative process that removes overwhelm and creates clarity at every stage.
Every project begins with understanding how you live, what inspires you and what isn't working in your home today. We explore your lifestyle, needs, aspirations, budget, project scope and priorities, forming the foundation for a design that is both beautiful and highly functional.
03. DESIGN CONCEPT + DEVELOPMENT
Once we understand your brief, we begin developing the overall vision for your home through space planning, interior architectural ideas, kitchen and bathroom concepts, material selections, colour palettes and furniture direction. Throughout this stage, we work collaboratively with you, refining and evolving the design until it feels right.
Design development is where ideas become highly resolved. Through a series of presentations and feedback sessions, we refine floor plans, joinery, lighting, materials, fixtures, furnishings and interior details until we arrive at a solution you genuinely love.
04. PROJECT COORDINATION
To ensure the design aligns with your budget and project goals, we encourage early engagement with a licensed builder. Their involvement provides valuable cost guidance, construction feedback and project planning advice, helping minimise surprises later in the process.
Once the design is approved, we prepare a comprehensive documentation package including floor plans, interior elevations, joinery drawings, lighting and electrical layouts, and finishes and fixtures schedules. We then engage a licensed Building Designer who develops the documentation required for certification and construction approvals.
Where planning approvals or building permits are required, the licensed Building Designer coordinates the statutory approval process, engaging the necessary consultants such as surveyors, engineers and planning professionals. They also prepare and lodge all required documentation with council and relevant authorities. Throughout this process, we remain closely involved to ensure the original design vision is maintained.
Once approvals are in place and construction commences, we continue to support the project as required. This may include builder liaison, site consultations, procurement of furnishings and finishes, installation coordination and final styling, helping ensure the completed home reflects the vision established during the design process.
05. A COLLABORATIVE TEAM APPROACH
Successful renovation and extension projects rely on the expertise of multiple professionals working together. At Wesley & Willis, we lead the interior design process and work closely with a trusted network of Building Designers, builders and specialist consultants to ensure your project is thoughtfully designed, professionally documented and delivered with care.
Our interior styling offerings are perfect for home owners, Airbnb hosts or prepping a property for sale if your not changing the footprint of the space. We understand that every space is unique, and so is every client. We'll work closely with you to tailor services to fit your individual needs.
